    Angry [:@] flashmint.com

Anyone ever used Flashmint? I wanted a way to show my photography but am not doing a lot of selling so I just bought a domain and wanted a simple flash site. Anyone ever used this site? I'm pretty sure I just got totally scammed and I'm sitting here almost in tears. I wanted a way to show my photography but am not doing a lot of selling so I just bought a domain and wanted a simple flash site. I purchased a template for around $60 from here and have the necessary software to edit it a (Flash MX) and it just keeps coming up "Unexpected file format." I want to cry. And of course the "Contact Us" on their website comes up as DNS lookup error. I should have known it was too good to be true. $60 is more than I make in an entire hard day at my stupid job. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Someone help me out please!

I love Flashmint.com! I love their designs and being their customer saves me a lot of my precious time. I purchased about 15 templates and stayed completely satisfied with the support they offer. Actually, it was only once that I needed to contact their support team, and they reacted very promptly.

thanks for the help, The Nerd Husband..... It is an .fla file. Is there something I am doing wrong? This is my first time working with this program. I couldn't contact their customer service so I sent a reply to their e-mail from billing and the only reply I got from them is that I should be using Flash MX 2004 or higher, which is what I'm using.

Great flash templates and great support ... Paying and downloading of templates is very easy and quick ;-) Had the same exact problem.  Come to find out they said I need Flash 8 or higher which does me no good.  Also, the template itself does not function properly.  Flashmint's customer service is awful.  Please spread the word that flashmint is a scam.  The templates look great but they do not function when you get them and they do not support your issues.  DO NOT BUY FROM FLASHMINT.

I used Flashmint several times and at first I had the trouble Unexpected file format. The matter was I should have used Adobe Flash 8 version or higher.

I've been using their service since 2004 for my clients website and pretty happy with it... May be it was not a good idea to purchase flash product if you have no clue how to use it Cool. Anyway, what I am trying to say is that there is no difference between flashmint, easytemplates or templatemonster products. They all suck if you don't know how to use it. I could edit the template, please pm me if you are interested.
